Welcome to K-LENS, a brand built around a simple idea: coloured lenses should be easy to access, high quality, and fun to wear.
The story behind K-LENS began in South Africa, where a long-standing interest and use in coloured contact lenses started back in the teenage years. Over time, it became clear that while many people enjoy experimenting with colour and style, finding high-quality prescription coloured lenses locally was often difficult, limited, or inconsistent.
That perspective changed after travelling to South Korea — a place where coloured lenses are widely available in an incredible range of natural styles, colours and prescriptions. The quality, comfort, and variety available there showed what was possible when lenses are designed not only for vision correction, but also for personal expression.
K-LENS was created to bring a version of that experience to South Africa.
Our goal is simple: to make premium South Korean coloured lenses accessible to South Africans who want both clear vision and the freedom to change their look. Whether it's a subtle enhancement, a new aesthetic, or lenses for cosplay and creative expression, we believe people should have more options available to them.
K-LENS operates under a medical device licence issued by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) to the responsible person of the business. All lenses are sourced from established South Korean manufacturers known for their quality, comfort, and safety standards, helping ensure that customers can explore colour with confidence. Safety, comfort, and quality remain at the core of everything we do.
While international pricing will always differ from buying locally in Korea, we work to keep pricing accessible and run regular promotions where possible — helping South Africans experience these lenses without the complexity of sourcing them overseas.
